We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team of like-minded tech people. Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:


Lead Generation & Prospecting


Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities using razorblue's ICP prospect


Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.


Work with Marketing on creative outbound sales campaigns


Client Relationship Management


Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners.


Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients.


Sales & Revenue Growth


Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.


Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue.


Market Research & Analysis


Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.


Provide insights to inform product development and pricing strategies.


Proposal Development


Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.


Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients.


Networking & Partnerships


Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.


Establish strategic partnerships to expand market reach.


Work with Marketing to organise and host prospects at our offices


Prepare presentations using the companies templates for sales meetings


Reporting & Forecasting


Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status in the companies CRM


Prepare regular reports on business development performance and forecasts.


Collaboration with Internal Teams


Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies.


Ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.


Attend prospecting meetings with trusted partners


Attending and participating in internal sales meetings


Strategic Planning


Contribute to the development of long-term business growth strategies.


Identify new markets and opportunities for expansion.


Compliance & Risk Management


Ensure all deals comply with company policies and legal requirements.


Assess risks associated with new business opportunities

Qualifications


Must hold a full UK Driving Licence


Experience


Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management.


Experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities.


Strong negotiation and deal-closing experience.


Knowledge


Previous technical experience (preferably in the IT/ ISP/ MSP marketplace) would be beneficial


Understanding of market research and competitor analysis.


Knowledge of the industry sector and commercial trends.


Skills


Excellent interpersonal skills


Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.


Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite


Strong verbal and written communication skills


Exceptional telephone manner


Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
