About the Role
An established scaffolding and access solutions company operating across the South East of England is seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and promoting the company's full range of scaffolding services to domestic, commercial, and industrial clients.
This is a field-based, client-facing role ideal for someone with a proven background in
construction-related sales
, who is confident managing relationships across a variety of sectors and project sizes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional business growth strategy across Surrey, Hampshire, and Berkshire.
Identify, target, and win new business within construction, commercial, domestic, and industrial markets.
Build and maintain relationships with main contractors, developers, and site managers.
Prepare and present quotations, tenders, and proposals.
Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and industry networking events.
Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
Proven success in
business development or sales
within the
construction, scaffolding, or related industries
.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
