Up to 60,000 base salary, plus 50,000 in uncapped commission (110k OTE)

Role overview:



As a Business Development Manager, you will drive the growth of SaaS revenues by identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers within a defined customer base. This outbound role requires a proactive approach to pipeline development, market understanding, and delivering sales targets. You will showcase expertise in demonstrating software solutions to prospective customers, fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The role focuses on consultative selling of two integrated solutions:

EduPay: A payroll and HR system designed specifically for the education sector. Staff Management: A tool for managing workforce planning, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Your goal is to help schools, academies, and educational trusts streamline their administrative processes, reduce costs, and improve compliance.



Key Responsibilities:



Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs Drive outbound calling to build and manage a robust sales pipeline Conduct high-quality product demonstrations using value-based approaches Maintain CRM accuracy, ensuring timely and precise revenue forecasting Develop deep market and product knowledge to stay ahead of competitors Engage with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers to secure complex deals Collaborate with the wider sales team, identifying cross-sell opportunities Act as a role model for best practices, inspiring and supporting team colleagues

What will you need to succeed?

Proven experience in an outbound sales role with a track record of exceeding targets Exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders Resilience and a results-driven mentality to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong market and product acumen, with an aptitude for learning and demonstrating software solutions Detail-oriented with excellent time management and CRM management skills A collaborative mindset and a passion for customer satisfaction Familiarity with SaaS solutions and understanding of market trends desirable
