We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Ply Van Racking Ltd, a leading provider of custom van racking installations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong B2B sales expertise who enjoys building relationships and providing tailored solutions to business clients.

About Us



Ply Van Racking Ltd specialises in the design and installation of bespoke van racking systems for tradespeople, fleet operators, and businesses across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality installations directly from our Shrewsbury premises.

As we look to expand our reach and develop long-term partnerships, we're seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to help us grow strategically and profitably.

The Role



You will be responsible for identifying new B2B opportunities with fleet companies, nurturing existing client relationships, and closing sales to support the growth of the business. You'll report directly to the Company Director to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities



Drive B2B growth by identifying new partnership opportunities with third-party providers Conduct in-person meetings and site visits to build long-lasting client relationships Complete and manage subcontracting agreements to ensure smooth partnership onboarding Generate, qualify, and manage your own pipeline of prospects across the UK Target large-scale van and site opportunities to maximise revenue potential Use CRM software to track all communications, leads, and project progress Provide regular updates and sales reports to the Company Director and assist with strategic planning Work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

What We're Looking For



Previous B2B experience in fleet management and commercial vans is essential Demonstrated success in achieving growth as a Business Development Manager (B2B essential) Strong knowledge of lead generation and pipeline management Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets Fully proficient in Microsoft and CRM systems A confident and professional communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable with a proactive approach Must have your own vehicle with full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits



Starting salary 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 Located at our Shrewsbury office (with travel across the UK as required) 20 days plus bank holidays Start Date - Within 3 months 3-month probationary period Private Health Insurance Company pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Free on-site parking Relaxed and supportive working environment Full training and onboarding provided Career development and progression opportunities
