Overview



The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with key partners, including local authorities, housing associations, support providers, and community organisations. The role will focus on securing new housing opportunities, expanding service provision, and ensuring long-term, sustainable partnerships that support our mission to provide safe and affordable homes for vulnerable individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Relationship Building



Identify, establish, and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, housing associations, and other partners. Represent the organisation at regional forums, networking events, and partnership meetings.

Business Development & Growth



Lead on identifying and developing new partnership opportunities to secure housing units, funding streams, and service contracts. Support tendering and bidding processes, working closely with senior management on proposals.

Collaboration & Delivery



Work with internal teams to ensure partnership agreements are effectively implemented and deliver positive outcomes for tenants.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on partnership performance against agreed objectives. Represent the organisation, promoting its vision and values across the housing and social care sector. Keep up to date with sector developments, funding opportunities, and policy changes that impact social housing provision.

Essential Requirements



Demonstrable experience in partnership management, business development. Knowledge of the social housing sector, including local authority commissioning processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar within the social housing sector Strong experience in tendering, bidding, or contract negotiation. Full clean driving licence is required

Desirable



Understanding of housing law, tenancy management, and compliance requirements. A relevant qualification in housing, business development, or social policy.
