Business Development Manager - South West Norse


Based out of Exeter, Devon


54,559.66 per annum


40 hours per week


Monday to Friday





Norse Group is an industry recognised and trusted partner to a number of successful joint business ventures across the UK, delivering a range of services across commercial, property and care disciplines. Devon Norse represents the highly successful joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, providing a range of facilities management and contract cleaning services across the South West.


As we look to develop our expanding business portfolio, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, operating out of our Exeter based office and developing business across the South West.


The role will challenge you to engage with a variety of clients from the public and private sector, securing business opportunities across our core facilities management and commercial cleaning service disciplines.


You will be supported by a range of commercial sales and operational delivery teams when producing tender documentation and quotations for client presentations, but take the lead when visiting sites, engaging with clients and securing new business.





Our Successful Candidate:




We are looking for you to bring a blend of commercial experience and industry knowledge to the role, and whilst we are happy to you with provide support and development opportunities, it is essential that you have knowledge and experience within cleaning or facilities management environment.


Alongside this, we are looking for you to demonstrate;


Proven commercial sales experience, ideally within both the public and private sector

Excellent business acumen, with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities

Articulate communication skills, confident engaging at all levels with the ability to inform, persuade and influence

Ability to create and deliver sales presentations that engage with a variety of audiences, adjusting tone delivery and content as required

Attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills in a deadline and target driven environment

This role will require you to travel around Exeter and the South West to visit clients, so you will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence to be considered for the role
