You'll play a key role in driving new business growth across the UK. This is a proactive sales role focused on identifying and developing opportunities with both new and existing clients, particularly within the SME space. Working closely with the wider sales and service teams, you'll introduce new solutions, respond to evolving client needs, and support the full sales process from lead generation through to proposal and close.
You'll be representing a trusted MSP with a strong reputation for service and delivery, and will be instrumental in helping clients get the most out of their IT investment.
From initial outreach and qualification through to proposal and close, you'll manage the full sales cycle. You'll be working closely with the wider sales, technical and service delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention, but also to drive revenue and profitability across your accounts. You'll need to be confident leading commercial discussions, building proposals, and creating account growth plans that align with both client needs and business goals.
What You'll Be Doing

Managing and developing a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring retention and satisfaction
Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders to understand business goals and pain points
Identifying and qualifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT services and solutions
Creating and executing strategic account plans to drive long-term growth
Supporting pre-sales activities, including coordinating with technical teams and creating proposals
Leading commercial discussions including pricing, contract renewals and scope of work
Ensuring a smooth handover and communication between departments to deliver what's promised
Attending regular meetings at either the West Yorkshire or Blackburn offices, alongside client site visits as needed
What We're Looking For

A proven track record in a client-facing commercial role - e.g., Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or similar
Experience working within an IT Services, MSP or technology solutions environment
Strong understanding of the sales process, client development, and commercial negotiation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to build rapport quickly and credibly
Highly organised with a proactive mindset and a drive to deliver results for clients and the business
Based in the UK with regular travel to clients and either regional office (Blackburn or West Yorkshire) - remote working is available for those outside the immediate area
