A leading global FMCG Promotional Packaging Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Development Manager to drive, manage and develop new business opportunities within Promotional Packaging sectors such as Food, Drink, Personal Care, Cosmetics etc.

This Business Development / Sales Development role will develop own accounts from scratch and then directly manage and develop own accounts generated.

The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Development Manager will have minimum of 5+ years experience within Business Development / Sales Development of Packaging into FMCG Manufacturing, desirably in both UK and Europe.

This role is UK based, working remotely but with travel to UK Manufacturing sites. Ability to speak another European Language (French / Spanish / Italian etc) would be deemed highly desirable, but not essential.

Business Development Manager / Sales Development Manager responsibilities include

Research, identify and regularly report new business opportunities. Including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.

Develop and implement a specific commercial approach to increase market share in Promotional Packaging markets

Develop marketing strategy and activities with the marketing department.

Support New Product Development activities and create a collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth

Participate and contribute towards integrating the overall Strategy of Whole of Europe 5 year sales plan
