We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly organised Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Dental Studio. This senior role requires proven experience in business development, HR coordination, operational leadership, and growth strategy within a healthcare, dental, aesthetics or similar professional services environment.

The successful candidate will drive business performance across both sites, support the day-to-day operational needs of the organisation, lead and develop the business support team, and play a key role in achieving our strategic growth objectives.

A growth mindset, professional attitude, and demonstrated success in similar roles are essential. Previous experience is a firm requirement; we will not be considering applicants without a relevant background. References will be requested for shortlisted candidates.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage day-to-day operations across both practice sites. Drive business growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and performance analysis. Oversee HR processes including recruitment support, onboarding, compliance tracking, and performance management administration. Provide leadership, training programmes and development to the business support team, ensuring high standards of professionalism and efficiency. Implement systems and workflows to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and patient experience. Monitor business KPIs, prepare reports, and support with solution and strategic decision-making. Support compliance and regulatory processes across both sites. Collaborate closely with the compliance and management team to align business and clinical objectives. Be a hands-on leader and get involved with day-to-day business.

Person Specification



Essential



Proven experience in a Business Development, Practice/Operational Management, or Senior Administrative Leadership role within dental, medical, aesthetics, or comparable private healthcare sector. Demonstrated success in business growth, operational improvement, and team leadership. Strong HR administration experience (e.g., recruitment support, performance documentation, staff coordination). Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills. Strong understanding of private patient service standards and commercial performance. Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Professional communication skills (written and verbal). High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Competence in Microsoft Office and practice management software. Ability to travel between both practice sites as required.

Desirable



Experience in a fully private dental group or aesthetic surgery environment. Knowledge of CQC standards and private practice compliance. Experience with marketing, patient journey development, or service expansion. Project management experience. Additional training in business management, HR, coaching, or leadership.
