With continued growth and a commitment to excellence, we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Role



As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across our electrical and fire compliance service lines. You'll build strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored compliance solutions that meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales and revenue targets. Identify and engage with new clients within sectors such as facilities management, construction, education, healthcare, housing, and commercial property. Promote services including electrical installation, fixed wire testing (EICR), emergency lighting, fire alarm maintenance, PAT testing, and other compliance-related offerings. Manage the full sales cycle -- from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and onboarding. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Work collaboratively with operations and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery. Track performance using CRM tools and provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior management.

Skills & Experience



Proven experience in business development or sales Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A consultative sales approach with the ability to identify and deliver client-focused solutions. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage workload independently. Full UK driving licence (essential).
