We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
You will drive company growth by identifying new opportunities, build relationships and help the company maximise profits. The successful candidate will be able to generate new business opportunities, build relationships with new customers to convert leads into sales and meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

Main Duties
Generating new business opportunities through researching and identifying potential customers
Onboard new customers and ensure all relevant details are entered into the CRM system
Ensuring the CRM is kept fully updated with quotations, key sales activity, meetings and actions
Build relationships with new customers, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients. Valid UK driving licence is a must have.
Work collaboratively with sales, marketing and other departments
Foster and develop relationships with customers, clients etc to generate repeat business and grow existing relationships
Discuss promotional strategies and activities with the marketing team
Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products and be able to communicate these effectively to win new business
Obtain technical training to enhance product knowledge for customer support
Maintain performance through achieving targets set by the Commercial Director
Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and goals
With the support of the sales management team, negotiate intelligent pricing and agreements with customers
Prioritising diary appointments (expectation 80% field based, 20% home/office based) to focus on the execution of the key targets
Undertake any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business
Person Specification
Ability to sell ideas, products and services
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise an ever-changing schedule
Willingness to learn and understand the business to ensure customers requirements are met
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
The ability to motivate themselves
Proven track record in B2B sales and business development >3 years experience in the electronics industry or associated industry
Proficiency with CRM software (Pipedrive / Salesforce) / IT software
Formal qualifications will support any application
Valid and clean UK driving licence
