City Sightseeing York is recruiting for a Business Development Manager
We operate City Sightseeing York on a franchise basis which falls under our Yorkshire Coastliner operation which is part of Transdev Blazefield. We run over 500 buses from 9 bases across the North of England, enabling nearly 40 million journeys each year - all thanks to the commitment of our 1,400 colleagues. We create buses that people are proud to be seen on, and our aim is to make the bus integral to the towns and cities we serve.

What will you be doing?
Speaking with other attractions and businesses to create partnerships to drive growth and develop the business
Monitoring and ensuring SLAs with Yorkshire Coastliner at met
Driving a customer focussed experience that delivers high quality tours
Managing and creating bespoke experiences for private hires and educational tours
Organise the live Tour Guides and Sales colleagues rotas to manage staff coverage and costs
Help with social media, for example TikTok or Instagram and manage reviews on places like Google or TripAdvisor
Work with the local and national tourist boards
What do we need from you?
Minimum of 1 years' experience in working in a Business Development Manager
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Commercially minded with a results-driven approach
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
Proven experience in business development, sales or partnerships (tourism or leisure preferred)
Proactive, energetic and self-motivated
Confident at networking
Customer focused
