About the role:
Reporting into
Managing Director
Generate business for the Diamond Division of Galleon Tools. To ensure that sales and relationships with existing B2B key account customers is maintained, developed, and strengthened, with the overall aim of exceeding all agreed sales targets.
You'll have a positive outlook that will help you thrive in the achievement of the following daily responsibilities:
Drive sales promoting products/services to existing and prospective new customers to increase overall sales growth.
Achieve KPI's set to include but not limited to monthly & annual promotions, NPD launches, account and initiatives to help drive business forward.
Manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Understand existing customer needs to identify new sales and new customer opportunities to increase sales revenue and to develop customer relations.
Identify new leads through networking and other lead generating techniques to help increase market share.
What are we looking for?
Proven successful sales history and key account management experience within the tool or plant hire industry (minimum 5 years' experience, essential).
High level of sales presentation, negotiation and 'closing' skills at all levels of business. (essential).
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Good analytical skills.
A self-motivated, ambitious individual with the ability to build and successfully execute Sales Plans.
Ability to generate and deliver on creating new business opportunities.
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate exceptional ingenuity in problem-solving, consistently finding innovative solutions to complex customer challenges and improving processes to enhance overall efficiency
Act as a professional ambassador for the business and its brands.
Full UK driving licence.
Willing to travel regularly.
