Business Development & Marketing Executive

Permanent Position | Ebbw Vale, South Wales

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 DOE

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Executive to join our sales team based at our site in South Wales. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities while supporting marketing and communications efforts to enhance brand visibility and drive inbound interest. Working closely with our field-based Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in building a strong pipeline of prospects and supporting the company's growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Development

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and sectors. Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels. Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the field-based BDM. Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and activity data. Track and report on KPIs including lead volume, conversion rates, and engagement. Support proposal development and follow-up communications.

Marketing & Communications

Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute marketing campaigns. Create and manage content for email campaigns, social media, and website updates. Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, and presentations. Monitor and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics. Assist in planning and promoting company presence at trade shows and industry events. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (B2B preferred). Experience or strong interest in marketing and communications. Knowledge within the plastics and/or additives industries Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tools. Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through. Self-motivated and target-driven
