About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Business Development Officer to join our friendly and dedicated Community Team. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll work closely with colleagues across the Community Team and beyond to develop effective systems to support, monitor and enhance how we work with communities to help them achieve their ambitions.
From managing key systems and supporting grant programmes to helping coordinate events and keeping our communications up to date, you'll play a vital part in helping our team make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Driving the development and improvement of processes and systems
Maintaining information and tracking progress against key priorities
Providing admin support for community grants and projects
Helping to plan and run meetings, forums, and events
Managing communications and website updates
Supporting data collection and analysis to help us improve
Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including councillors, community groups, and partner organisations
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised, detail-oriented, and great at juggling priorities
A confident communicator who enjoys working with others
Comfortable using systems and keen to improve how things are done
Able to work independently and as part of a team
