Job Title: Business Development Manager (Part-Time)

Medical Director / Executive Leadership

Role Summary

:

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, driving service expansion, and supporting the organisation's reputation as a leader in private mental healthcare. The post holder will also contribute to revenue growth by identifying referral pathways, engaging with insurers, GPs, education providers, corporates, and international clients (e.g., students and medical tourists).

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead the design and implementation of business development strategies aligned with Freesia Health's goals

Identify and develop referral partnerships with GPs, insurance companies, corporates, schools, universities, and wellness providers

Manage engagement with key stakeholders including NHS partners, social care, private medical insurers, and embassies

Develop and maintain relationships with international student services and medical tourism agencies

Support service leads in launching new services, including marketing and outreach planning

Monitor market trends and competitor offerings and produce monthly insights for senior leadership

Coordinate and attend events, webinars, and health expos to promote Freesia Health

Contribute to the development of commercial materials (presentations, brochures, pitch decks, etc.)

Support bids, tenders, and partnership proposals

Track performance against agreed KPIs and prepare regular performance reports

Maintain CRM systems and ensure stakeholder databases are up to date

Contribute to the development of pricing and service packages

Location and Working Hours:

Based in Birmingham, with the flexibility to work from home
2-3 days per week, hours flexible depending on availability and business need

Person Specification

Degree in Business, Marketing, Health Management, or related field

Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management or business development
*

Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, preferably in healthcare
Proven track record in securing partnerships and generating growth

Experience working with mental health or social care providers
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong planning and time management
CRM and digital marketing familiarity
*

Presentation design and proposal writing for health services
*

Understanding of UK healthcare landscape (NHS/private sector/insurers)
Awareness of market needs for private mental health services
*

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
