Smart Corporate stays were founded in 2017 as a property management franchise company and service accommodation for the corporate let and contractor's market. We have property in various locations all over the UK.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven and motivated Business Development Officer to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through product or service sales. Experience in marketing is required as you will work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns, promote the brand, and drive customer engagement across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

o Identify and prospect new business opportunities through warm leads, networking, and other lead-generation methods.

o Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

o Address customer queries, concerns, and needs promptly and professionally. Complete follow up calls, collect feedback.

3. Negotiation & Closing:

o Present the franchise business model & training packages available

o Draft contracts, and terms of agreements to close sales.

o Ensure contracts are issued & signed, and the sale is completed successfully.

o Follow up with payment & onboarding calls

4. Achieve Sales Targets:

o Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and quotas.

o Track sales progress and report performance metrics regularly to the sales director.

5. Operations & Customer Retention:

o Provide support in website development, sales funnels & client data input

o Use new business development & networking to build client database

o Attend Events & Exhibitions

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sales Officer or relevant role in sales.

Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build relationships and work effectively with customers & clients.

Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to work.

Experience in Facebook, LinkedIn & other social media platforms

Have a working knowledge of Go High Level, Copywriting, Email marketing

Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Proven experience in a marketing role.

Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and branding.

Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, etc.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Conditions:

Travel will be required for client meetings and industry events.

Must be available to attend online webinars, exhibitions and events to assist clients and close sales. Some events will involve evening and weekend hours and overnight stays.

Standard office hours with occasional extended hours based on customer needs or deadlines. Some sales calls will be required out of normal office hours in line with customer needs.
