Who are Jigsaw Recovery Project?
Jigsaw Recovery Project support some of the most disadvantaged people in society. Many of the people that we work with are nearing the end of their journey through the care system, transitioning into adulthood or they are transitioning through Recovery and have experienced multiple failed placements. Our aim is to recognise the complexity of need that people can have and to develop bespoke support packages that focus on making positive progress whilst still celebrating individuality. By ensuring that the needs, wishes and feelings of those that we work with are the cornerstone of the support we deliver. We hope to build relationships that are characterised by warmth, stability and understanding.
The Role
This critical role is vital to JRPs vision, values and ethos.
As Business Development Officer you will work to ensure that the Growth and Development of the Organisation and ensure that the trajectory of this Growth and Development is promoted by building , developing and Maintaining relationships with Key stakeholders.
In this varied role you will work under the guidance of the CEO and Company Directors, promoting and developing services for both Adults and Children and Young People (Ofsted Registered).
You will be based at Head Office (Team Valley), travelling frequently to meet with Stakeholders, Commissioners and Partner agencies, promoting the services JRP currently offer and developing relationships to build and develop future services that JRP can deliver.
Your time at Head Office will be spent supporting Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that Organisational Compliance is in place, maintaining and building relationships with new Stakeholders and promoting current and future services offered by JRP
Main Responsibilities of the Role
? Provide Support to SLT and to the Service Managers
? Have an in depth Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements ( Ofsted & CQC)
? Creating market strategies for the business
? Developing new products and services to meet the needs of existing and new stakeholders and partner agencies
? Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
? Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, partner agencies and Commissioners
? Conducting periodic market research and Data analysis
? Implementing strategies to minimise operating costs and increase profits
? Representing JRP at Forums and events.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
? Experience of working in this sector, having knowledge of working with vulnerable young people and adults
? Knowledge of Ofsted and CQC requirements regarding Supported accommodation
? Proven ability to analyse problems, identify and implement solutions.
? Good interpersonal and communication skills.
? Good Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
? A Good working knowledge of Microsoft software
? Knowledge of Procurement Systems
? Competent at Bid writing and knowledge of Contractual obligations and meeting SLAs
? Full UK clean driving license and have a use of a car for business.
