Location: The Wellington Hospital, St Johns Wood, London



Full time 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, on site

We have an exciting opportunity to join The Wellington Hospital Business Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to expand their skills and experience within Business Development.


Within this role, you will provide sales and administrative support to the Head of Business Development and Business Development Leads and Managers (BDLs, BDMs), enabling the BDLs and BDMs to maximise the time spent engaging with consultants and enable key elements of the Wellington Hospital growth strategy.


To be successful in the role, you will need to provide excellent customer service and engagement to key stakeholders within the business, adjusting and tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.

What you'll do:



Develop and implement more efficient processes for onboarding new consultants, including handling all administrative tasks, coordinating training, and supporting ongoing issue resolution Support the Business Development team by liaising with consultants, consultant secretaries, and internal departments during onboarding Ensure timely setup of consultant systems, including logins, email, CWS (Community Wide Scheduling) diaries, Patient Keeper, Meditech, HCA web profiles and other relevant platforms With support from relevant stakeholders, provide training and support to consultants and their secretaries to improve engagement and optimize system usage, including delivering face-to-face sessions when needed Monitor and improve consultant onboarding experiences, identifying areas for process enhancement and increased efficiency Coordinate updates to internal databases, project plans, and stakeholders on consultant onboarding progress Resolve system-related issues for consultants promptly and escalate as necessary Prepare regular reports on progress, gaps, and opportunities related to consultant onboarding and engagement Assist with other Business Development projects as directed

What you'll bring:



Educated to degree level. If you do not have a degree, or healthcare related qualification, a background in business, sales and/or sales administration is important. Exceptional candidates that do not have a degree will be considered based on other relevant experience and a demonstrable track record of delivery Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent experience in providing administration support, be able build good relationships easily and work collaboratively with colleagues and customers. great attention to detail and be able to work well in a team as well as on your own initiative Outstanding communication skills are paramount as you will constantly be communicating with internal and external customers
