Business Development Partner

to help shape, drive and sustain our growth strategy.

Job Purpose



The Business Development Partner will lead Crestwood Care Ltd's growth activities in London. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, securing new service opportunities, developing partnerships, expanding our client base, and supporting the successful rollout of new non-regulated support services.

You will work closely with senior management to position Crestwood as a trusted and high-quality service provider across London boroughs.

Key Responsibilities



1. Growth & Business Development



Identify new service opportunities across London boroughs, including: Local Authorities & Commissioning Teams Housing providers Supported living organisations Community partnerships Private clients Expand existing services and develop new service lines aligned with Crestwood's mission. Conduct market research to identify needs, gaps, and competitive opportunities.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building



Build and maintain strong working relationships with commissioners, social workers, support coordinators, housing officers and community agencies. Attend networking events, business meetings, and relevant community forums to promote Crestwood Care Ltd. Represent the company professionally at all external engagements.

3. Tenders, Referrals & Contract Acquisition



Identify new tender opportunities for non-regulated services. Support the preparation of expressions of interest, bids, service proposals and pricing models. Work with senior management to negotiate service agreements and partnership contracts. Respond promptly to referral enquiries and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

4. Service Development & Strategic Planning



Work with the management team to design and launch new community-based support services. Help drive geographical expansion across targeted London boroughs. Provide insights to shape strategic direction, growth planning and service design.

5. Internal Collaboration



Work closely with: Directors Team Leaders and Coordinators HR (to support recruitment planning for new contracts) Finance (for costings and viability checks) Ensure all new business opportunities are deliverable, sustainable and aligned with company standards.

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking



Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, opportunities, and outcomes. Provide monthly progress reports to senior leadership. Track performance of new service launches and partnerships.

Person Specification



Essential



Experience in business development, commissioning, care coordination, or service expansion within the health/social care sector. Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of local authority structures, referral pathways and adult support services. Commercial awareness (pricing, viability, budgets). Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good IT skills (Microsoft 365, CRM/sales tracking tools). Ability to travel within London for meetings and visits.

Desirable



Experience working with non-regulated community support services. Tendering/bid writing experience. Strong understanding of supported living, community outreach, or social care commissioning. Experience in developing partnerships with housing providers or agencies.
