About the Role
You'll be at the forefront of securing new referrals from local authorities and the NHS, working directly with commissioners and funders to build strong networks and partnerships. A key part of your role will involve:
Generating new referrals for our residential, supported living, education and day services. services.
Negotiating placement fees and annual uplifts with commissioners.
Building and maintaining a professional network across local authorities, NHS, and integrated care systems.
Researching and applying to grant-making trusts to support service development.
Providing strategic insight to senior leaders on market trends and commissioning priorities.

About You
We're seeking someone who:
Understands how local authority and NHS commissioning works.
Has proven experience in business development, commissioning, or contracts in health/social care.
Can negotiate confidently and persuasively with commissioners and funders.
Writes compelling funding applications and business cases.
Is proactive, resilient, and motivated to make a positive impact in the lives of people with complex needs.
