Business Development Representative (construction Sector)

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We're working on a new procurement solution for contractors and developers, and looking for a

top-of-funnel BDR

to join our team. This product is still in stealth mode, but we're seeing early traction.

You'll work closely with our marketing, technical and management teams to drive our first deals and refine our approach as we learn.

About Stylib

Stylib was founded by architects Noam Naveh and Fabio Galicia, with the mission to simplify how the built environment industry works with product information.

We've raised almost 2M in funding to date, led by EU VC's Foundamental and Redstone. We're now expanding into the construction space with a new, data-driven product line.

What we're looking for

These points are meant to give you a sense of what we value - they're not hard requirements. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd still like to hear from you.

Most importantly, you're a

great communicator

who enjoys building relationships. You convey trust and create eye-level discussions as a default wherever you go. You're an all-in person who isn't scared of pushing to get your foot in the door or using unorthodox sales methods. You have a minimum of 3 years experience working with

contractors and/or developers

in the UK. You perfectly understand their world, objectives and the different stakeholders. You're motivated by helping people do their jobs better - saving time and money through smarter digital tools. You're comfortable working in a dynamic environment, adjusting and iterating as you go. You're independent and outcome-driven. This is a result driven role. It is not the corporate 9-to-6 type. You're consistent and can easily switch to execution mode. You're excited about having full control to shape how our sales process and pipeline evolve.
This is essentially a

founding sales role.

The person we hire will help define what our sales motion looks like from day one.

We are open to Full time / Part time / contract / freelance candidates.

What you'll be doing

You're expected to knock on office doors, visit sites, make calls or any other activity that would move us forward. It's for you to execute our initial sales effort. Leverage your existing network of contacts with contractors to drive initial sales. Build and manage early relationships with main contractors, design & build contractors, and developers. Engage day-to-day with prospects - opening doors, developing conversations, and driving opportunities forward. Create and maintain a top-of-funnel sales pipeline. Help define our go-to-market and engagement strategy. Work directly with founders to shape the way we sell and communicate our new offering.
This is a

hands-on

role. You'll be part of a small team where everyone contributes to execution and strategy.

Why join us

Opportunity to build a product that could scale widely across the contractor sector. Competitive compensation, with

equity options

as one of the first sales hires in the company. Direct collaboration with the founding team and early ownership over sales strategy. Freedom and flexibility to shape your work and drive results your own way. Work with cutting-edge tech that's changing how the construction industry operates.
The process

Send your CV and a short note to

A second round will follow with both founders. We will be asking you for references.
