About the Role
As a
Business Development & Sales Support Executive
, you'll be right at the centre of our commercial engine -- identifying opportunities, creating connections, and driving conversations that turn into long-term partnerships.
You'll manage and qualify inbound enquiries, build your own pipeline, and lead discovery meetings with small to medium businesses. You'll also support our Key Account Manager with larger accounts, ensuring every lead is followed through and every opportunity is maximised.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves the pace of business development, thrives on achievement, and wants to build a successful career in logistics sales.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead Generation & Qualification
Respond fast and effectively to new enquiries -- you'll often be the first Speedel impression clients get.
Research, qualify and nurture prospects into real business opportunities.
Keep our CRM sharp, structured and bursting with pipeline activity.
Business Development & Outreach
Proactively identify new business targets and develop a steady flow of fresh opportunities.
Engage decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn with confidence and credibility.
Maintain a 3-month rolling pipeline that drives consistent results.
Sales Meetings & Client Engagement
Conduct online sales meetings with SMEs and bring Speedel's story to life.
Support customer visits alongside our Key Account Manager when required.
Represent Speedel's brand with professionalism and enthusiasm in every conversation.
Sales Support & Reporting
Prepare professional proposals, quotes and presentations that stand out.
Support account management with proactive follow-ups and client communication.
Track your progress and share insights on performance, wins and opportunities for growth.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in business development, lead generation or inside sales (preferably B2B).
Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and opening doors.
Commercially curious -- you understand what makes businesses tick.
Highly organised, structured and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
CRM-savvy, tech-literate, and quick to learn.
Ambitious, self-motivated, and driven to exceed expectations.
