Job description
Working as part of the Economic Development Team, this role will form an integral part of a team focussed on economic growth and supporting our local businesses.
We are looking for colleagues that have strong interpersonal skills and can be representatives of the Council when out and about the district speaking to our businesses.
We are looking for individuals that are proactive, be a good team player, whilst also demonstrating the ability to work on their own initiative, be creative in their thinking, and always willing to go the extra mile to support our customers - internal and external.
We have several exciting projects in progress that include delivering business grant schemes, supporting businesses to become greener, supporting market start up, supporting start-up businesses through to projects that go towards improving our high streets as well as operating our business engagement centre based at South Cambridgeshire Hall.
These roles are hybrid based and the successful candidate will be expected to visit businesses throughout the district and network effectively with external stakeholders and partners.
