Overview



We are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to expand our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy in financial and business reporting, and assist with various administrative tasks as necessary. We are a busy team and require a person with a flexible approach who is happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks.

Assist with processing sales and purchase ledger transactions Post bank transactions and bank reconciliations Liaise with external agencies and assist with their queries Assist with Edi reporting and Procurement platforms Assist with customer enquiries Assist in preparing financial reporting and information for other departments Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager

Skills



Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role desirable A working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Excel required Strong numeracy and attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills An ability to work independently and as part of a team
