Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business finance risk consultant to join our team. This role will be pivotal in supporting Mutus Tech's efforts to secure international funding to drive global expansion, while ensuring the company's financial health. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial risk analysis, international funding, and due diligence, with a strong background in investment banking and expertise in navigating global capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

Review existing operations and improve areas that have higher of risk, in particular to assess and mitigate financial risks associated with securing international funding, including evaluating the financial stability of potential investors and funding structures Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure operational and financial resilience during Mutus Tech's pursuit of international funding and expansion into the finance and investment sectors. Develop risk management frameworks to support Mutus Tech's global expansion, ensuring financial health during fundraising and scaling of precision agriculture solutions. Perform advanced financial modeling and valuation (e.g., DCF, CCA, PTA) to evaluate the financial viability of international investment opportunities and strategic initiatives. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, ratio analysis, and scenario planning, to ensure the company's financial stability and optimize capital structures. Lead due diligence processes for international funding deals and partnerships, coordinating with global financial advisors and ensuring compliance with cross-border regulatory requirements. Monitor global market trends, regulatory environments, and economic factors impacting agriculture and finance sectors to inform risk mitigation and funding strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development and R&D, to align risk management strategies with Mutus Tech's fundraising and expansion goals. Prepare and present detailed risk reports and funding recommendations to senior management and international stakeholders, clearly communicating complex financial insights. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential disruptions to business operations, including financial, regulatory, and market risks associated with global fundraising and cross-border partnerships. Perform financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting and ratio analysis, to ensure the company's financial health and support continuity during funding rounds and market expansion. Collaborate with leadership to design contingency plans for critical business functions, including R&D, client delivery, and financial operations, to mitigate risks during international growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in Finance is highly desirable. Over 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial risk analysis, with a focus on international funding, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or corporate finance advisory. Proven track record of managing high-value transactions and conducting due diligence for international funding or investment deals. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation, with expertise in Excel and models such as DCF, CCA, and PTA. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform ratio analysis, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessment for complex international projects. Experience navigating global capital markets and regulatory environments, with a deep understanding of cross-border funding structures and compliance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial and risk-related information to diverse global audiences. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with international investors, financial advisors, and stakeholders.
