This is an exciting role that involves building data intelligence products for Amro Partners' real estate portfolio in the UK and in Europe.
Amro is a fast-growing, sustainability focused real estate investor, developer and operator in the student accommodation and multi-dwelling sectors in the UK and in EU with offices in London, Madrid, Berlin and Amsterdam. We have an ambitious growth strategy for our data intelligence team that will in turn support our growth in investing, developing and operating green, carbon neutral buildings. You will be part of a best-in-class team for data product solutions for the housing market in the UK and in Europe.
As a BI Data Analyst you will develop data models and BI products for quantitative and qualitative insights including financial and non-financial data for Amro's fast-growing, data analytics function.
As a data-loving member of the team, you serve as a business data analytics expert, developing objective insights to help make better decisions. You will weave stories with meaningful insight from data. You will make critical recommendations. You relish tallying up the numbers and building relational data models and producing high quality visualisations that best communicate objective market intelligence to our investor community.
Experience in building well designed data and data workflows that are used for sharing insights is highly desirable.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research or similar
Experience with statistical software using Python and SQL is a must have
Statistics, including hypothesis testing, product experimentation, regressions, and experimentation logic and biases
Manipulating data sets through statistical software (R, SAS, or Pivot Tables)
Build and maintain relationships with our key technology providers as well as other team members
Experience with manipulating large data sets, data reconciliation, and/or data investigation.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
Experience in applying data insights that help solve business problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous market environments.
Proven project delivery and communication skills in cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
You will work with multiple cross disciplinary teams to identify the problems to be solved and refine hypotheses to be tested. Being able to independently identify and scope out projects in collaboration with your colleagues and stakeholders from the tech and real estate teams is essential.
You will manage development of data resources, gather requirements, organise sources, and support product launches.
You will design and build metrics, carry out A/B testing on product POCs and understand QA processes to ensure that all output can be trusted once deployed
Salary band applicable: 40,000-48,000
