As a

Business Lecturer at EKC Canterbury College

, you'll inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, managers and leaders by bringing business theory to life in engaging, real-world ways. You'll teach, assess and support learners across a range of learning environments, helping every student reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing:

Designing and delivering engaging Business lessons that motivate and challenge learners Teaching, training and assessing students to ensure a consistently high-quality learning experience Supporting learners academically and personally, helping them progress and achieve Leading on designated study programmes and/or courses where appropriate Playing a key role in the design, delivery and ongoing evaluation of Business programmes

About You

You will be a highly organised and creative professional, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that inspire learners.

In this role, you will:

Plan and teach high-quality Business and Marketing lessons across a range of learning environments Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners Assess, track and monitor student progress, using this insight to plan timely and effective interventions Support learners to develop the skills, confidence and behaviours they need to succeed Teach designated Business and Marketing programmes from

Level 2 through to Level 3 T Levels

Motivate and encourage learners to achieve and progress on their programmes of study

About you:

You may have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, although this is not essential You bring a positive outlook and an empathetic, learner-centred approach You have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners You're committed to your own development -- full training and support will be provided for the successful applicant

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval). Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification
