This newly established Business Operations Manager role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual who can bring a fresh perspective and drive operational excellence.

Role Overview



As the Business Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our business, ensuring seamless operations across multiple teams and functions. You will oversee operational efficiency, compliance, client management, BPO operations, and business development. Your ability to strategically allocate tasks, manage teams across different locations, and improve processes will be key to the success of this role.

This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can effectively coordinate between UK based staff and offshore teams, ensuring all client requirements are met to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operational Efficiency, Process Optimization & Performance management



Oversee and coordinate the work of in-house and offshore teams across departments, including Accounting, IT, HR, and other BPO operations. Allocate tasks to team members and set completion deadlines based on client requirements. Monitor project progress and overdue tasks, providing reasons for delays and following up with teams for updates. Identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance workflow and performance Provide regular reports with management on operational performance and areas for improvement.

2. Compliance & Client Management



Act as the first point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Allocate client inquiries to the relevant department and oversee their resolution. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and business impact. Manage selected portfolios, assisting with onboarding and ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements. Ensure all operations align with regulatory compliance standards and company policies.

3. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) & Business Development



Manage the digital marketing team, ensuring effective social media management and content strategy. Maintain and update website content and ensure insightful, relevant material. ? Prepare high-quality presentations for external meetings, client pitches, and business collaborations. Act as the front-facing representative for business development, engaging in client relationships, strategic partnerships, and market expansion efforts.

4. Executive & Management Support



Provide operational support to the management team, acting as a strategic shadow in key decision-making processes. Assist with diary management, organizing client meetings, preparing presentations, and taking minutes for key meetings. Attend and participate in external meetings with HMRC and business partners, representing IYKONS professionally. Support management with special projects, new initiatives, and emerging business opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills Required



Proven experience in business operations, process management, or a similar role. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, especially in managing offshore teams. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal teams and client relationships. A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving business challenges. Any accounting background is a plus.
