We're looking for a strategically minded operator, someone structured, smart, and commercially aware to work directly with our MD and help us build the internal engine that powers our next phase of growth.
We're looking for an exceptionally organised and commercially aware Business Operations & Talent Manager to work directly alongside our MD, helping to drive recruitment, streamline operations, and implement structure across a fast-growing consultancy.
You'll be joining at a critical moment. We're expanding aggressively and need a strong operational mind to help us scale effectively. You'll work hand-in-hand with the founder to build recruitment pipelines, coordinate with department heads, and design clear operational frameworks that bring structure and accountability to a busy, high-performing team.
This role is not about personal assistance. It's about leadership support, strategic input, and operational delivery. You'll be a key internal figure and sounding board to the MD, helping turn ideas into plans, and plans into action.
We need someone who is highly structured, a strong communicator, confident managing projects and people, and fully fluent in modern tools, especially AI platforms and Microsoft Planner, which will form a core part of your daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with the MD to drive business-critical initiatives
Lead on internal recruitment processes, aiming to hire at least two commercial/marketing roles monthly
Coordinate hiring managers, scheduling, and follow-up to ensure momentum is maintained
Own and manage the company's internal Planner boards, aligning tasks, owners, and priorities across teams
Help design and implement processes to support departmental growth
Track progress and accountability across operational and commercial activities
Prepare briefings, update decks, meeting agendas and summaries for internal execution
Support coordination of team communications, internal updates and milestones
Champion the use of AI tools to optimise day-to-day efficiency across admin and planning
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting senior leaders in high-growth, commercial or operational environments
Exceptional organisational skills - you enjoy planning, structure, and clarity
Strong written and verbal communicator who can drive action without needing to chase
A confident, proactive mindset and high emotional intelligence
Experience with recruitment coordination, internal hiring processes or agency comms
Absolute comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Notion AI, Microsoft Copilot etc.
Solid understanding of productivity tools - particularly Microsoft Planner, Excel, Outlook
Curious and motivated - able to grow the role alongside the business
