The Role

We are seeking a Business Researcher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct in-depth market research, analyze business trends, and provide actionable insights to support our clients in navigating the Chinese and UK markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed market research into UK and China business sectors, including trends, competitor behaviour, and commercial opportunities

- Analyse cross-border political and regulatory developments impacting UK-China business relationships

- Prepare reports, data summaries, and strategic presentations for clients and internal teams

- Identify and assess potential commercial partnerships, market entry opportunities, and investment routes

- Collaborate with consultants to develop bespoke, insight-driven recommendations based on research findingsConduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities in the UK and China.

- Analyze economic, political, and regulatory factors affecting cross-border business.

- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Support business development by identifying potential partnerships and market entry strategies.

- Collaborate with consultants to provide data-driven recommendations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in business/market research.

- Knowledge of the UK and Chinese business landscapes (experience in both is a plus).

- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or Power BI) and report writing.

- Excellent communication skills in English (Chinese language skills are advantageous but not mandatory).

- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
