The opportunity
Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a Business Support Accounts Maternity Cover position. This is a hands-on role based at our Oxford office.
Reporting to our Business Support team, you will be working with colleagues across the business in this role along with the business support team. The role is flexible, with hybrid working currently in place - you will need to be able to access the Oxford Office for key face to face meetings.
It is an interesting and varied role with a supportive and professional team who support all employees to achieve the business objectives.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and have a keen eye for detail. You will be qualified to a minimum of AAT Foundation level or equivalent with a good working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, Finance programs such as Sage Accounts.
What will you do?
You will work closely with other team members providing support to the Company across all offices.
Duties will include (but are not limited to)
Supporting the business support finance manager with financial duties, such as invoicing, sage accounting, purchase ledger and receivables
Assisting with Credit Control including aged debtors and follow-up
General finance admin duties
What we are looking for:
Essential:
AAT Foundation level or equivalent
Software experience of MS Office, Adobe, Sage Accounting or equivalent
Excellent inter-personal skills
An accurate and methodical approach to your work
Good organisational and prioritisation skills
Self motivation and the ability to work as a member of a team
Desirable:
Data base input/management experience
