We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team for maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Hatchery based in Wrexham and Farms across the UK and ensuring efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Manage clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Communicate Driver rota's effectively to drivers and customers
Maintain office organisation and cleanliness
Preparing samples to be sent to the Lab
Opening daily post and sending on to correct department
Manage employee files
Support the hatchery with administration needs
Any other support to the business as and when needed
Experience:
Proven experience in an administrative role
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Previous experience with Sage HR would be an advantage
Ability to type accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with general office procedures and administrative tasks
As this role is based in a Hatchery environment, biosecurity procedures are to be strictly adhered to.
