About the role
Are you an organised, proactive, and tech-savvy Administrator looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and expanding team? Balfour Beatty is seeking an Business Support Administrator to provide essential support to our Engineering & Telematics function. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organisation delivering professional services across the Balfour Beatty Group and to external clients.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the Engineering & Telematics function with responsive and professional service.
Handling general administration, data input (Oracle R12), and document control via SharePoint.
Managing timesheets, project hours, invoicing, and internal/external work trackers.
Coordinating templates and documentation for business cases, specifications, and project plans.
Booking training sessions and raising orders with suppliers and subcontractors.
Supporting the New Product Approval and NCR processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Setting up users and subscription reports in Live Link.
Assisting in the creation of case studies and organising quarterly review meetings.
Maintaining subscription records and updating ATS Hub pages.
Organising team-building events and external site visits.
Who we're looking for
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in Administration.
Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Highly organised with excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and flexibility.
Desirable:
Experience with invoicing and engineering department coordination.
NVQ or similar qualifications in Administration and ICT.
