An opportunity has arisen for a skilled administrator to join the Business Support Team which supports Adult Care Financial Services

Adult Care Financial Services have responsibility for a range of finance based processes supporting the payments for social care services and assisting those service users who require broader help with managing their own finances.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the team to undertake a range of administrative duties. You will need to:

  • be well organised and able to demonstrate initiative
  • demonstrate a flexible approach to changing work demands
  • possess problem-solving skills
  • demonstrate good communication skills
  • work well as part of a team.
You will need to be experienced in using a range of IT software including MS Excel although training will be given on specialist systems that are used in the team. The role will require accurate data inputting and numeracy skills.

You will be aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and acting within the General Data Protection Regulations.

You will be supported and encouraged to continue your own development through enhancing your skills and through a number of Corporate and Service training opportunities.

Nottinghamshire County Council are embracing hybrid working so you will have opportunities to work from home if this is suitable for you - and you will be provided with equipment to facilitate this.

There is the possibility of completing the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, alongside the role.
