This role involves working as part of the Business Support Service based within the Adults Wellbeing and Culture Directorate: Adult Social Care. The position is to provide and deliver comprehensive safeguarding business support functions to our social work teams. This post offers the opportunity to work closely with Adult Social Care Professionals along with a variety of internal colleagues and external partners, all providing vital support to people within our community.
The duties include (but are not limited to)
Providing comprehensive, efficient business safeguarding support to all team members.
Liaising with professionals, external agencies and representatives, internal colleagues, and members of the public.
Dealing with safeguarding enquires and requests from both internal and external customers ensuring that a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
Minute taking in a highly confidential, multi-team environment.
Updating customer records, on various systems.
Work within Data Protection guidelines, handling sensitive and confidential data.
The ideal candidate will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy office, be well organised and flexible, have excellent customer service skills and experience of working to conflicting deadlines.
