The role provides comprehensive financial and administrative support across the business, with a primary focus on managing and maintaining robust financial processes through to the trial balance. Working closely with the Business Support Manager, Senior Leadership, and the Finance team, the post-holder will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial control, project oversight, and effective month-end processes, while also supporting wider office operations and internal coordination. And as a Business Support Manager with Bellrock's Energy & Smart Engineering team, you'll do it by

Financial Operations



Support and manage the business unit's finance function through to the trial balance. Manage financial administration, including raising and reconciling invoices and purchase orders, supporting accruals, and maintaining accurate project forecasts. Review and approve staff expense claims in line with company policies. Complete regular bank reconciliations. Carry out credit control activities, including issuing statements, debt collection, and liaising with operational teams to resolve queries and secure timely payments. Support month-end close processes and provide financial oversight of projects in collaboration with Project Managers and the Finance team. Maintain and update project data within CMAP (or equivalent systems), including budgets, milestones, and profitability tracking.

Business Support and Administration





Schedule and coordinate meetings, including board meetings, leadership sessions, and client reviews; prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions Diary Management along with travel bookings and provide support with expense submissions and other logistical requirements. Develop, document, and improve internal operational processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Maintain a working knowledge of the Business Support Manager's responsibilities to provide effective cover when required. Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role, skills, and experience to support business objectives and contractual requirements.

Essential



Proven experience in Executive Support and Finance operations Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and Teams High attention to detail and strong numerical skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable handling sensitive information and interacting with senior stakeholders

Desirable





Qualification in Finance and Business Administration Experience using project or finance platforms (e.g., CMAP, Access, Xero) Experience with Time and Expense billing Familiarity with project management processes and organisational dynamics Understanding of compliance procedures and office logistics

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the London Paddington office and working two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
