Job Description

We are delighted to invite applications for a motivated and detail?driven Business Support Officer to join our Mental Health Business Support Service. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our Mental Health Community Teams.



In this key support role, you will provide high?quality business, data, and administrative support to the Mental Health Community Teams. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth running of our services and our ongoing commitment to delivering safe, consistent, and effective mental health care.



You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about delivering excellent service and promoting staff wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, self?motivated, and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team, with strong communication skills, high accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem?solving.



Analyse and interpret data from a range of report formats, extracting key information relating to performance indicators (both quantitative and qualitative). Present this data to managers in clear, actionable formats to support service planning, performance management, and clinical supervision.

Develop and maintain effective business support systems and processes to assist the Mental Health Leads and senior clinicians in meeting Trust objectives. This includes creating robust mechanisms to monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Proactively identify and address performance concerns, engaging directly with clinicians where required to highlight issues and request corrective action. When necessary, escalate areas of poor performance or non?compliance to Team Leads, Quality Leads, or the Service Lead in line with agreed processes.

Collaborate with Corporate Services to detect areas of under?recording or inconsistent recording of clinical activity. Work closely with clinical teams to support improved data quality, accurate record keeping, and greater consistency in data capture.
