Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of Business Support Officers within the SEND and Personalisation service area (Education and Skills).



The post is full time permanent (core working hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). Currently the role involves hybrid working, with some days spent working from home and some days in the office, as required. If you would like to be part of a busy team helping to support the children and families of Telford and Wrekin, then this could be the position for you.


Business Support Officers play a vital role in supporting front line teams and practitioners across Education and Skills Services. This role will provide professional administrative support across the breadth of Childrens Services, and we aim to;

Deliver an integrated and highly effective business support service Ensure children, young people and families are at the heart of everything we do Work together, share knowledge and support each other Innovate and improve Promote continuous personal and professional development

You will have good proficiency in the use of ICT systems (Microsoft applications, databases etc) and be confident dealing with a variety of multi-disciplinary professionals whilst working to deadlines in a highly demanding environment.
