About the role
We are seeking a Business Systems Specialist to join the Business Systems team. In this role, you will collaborate with the company to analyse business needs and identify ways to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations by optimising existing system implementations and adoption. Occasionally, you may need to work alongside the project management team to facilitate the onboarding of new systems for WPT.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all core BAU systems and productivity tools are maximised for their intended use, alongside promoting full product adoption where necessary. This entails engaging with internal stakeholders to raise awareness of these tools and organising training sessions as appropriate. Additionally, you will partner with external account managers and customer success managers to review the product roadmap, collaborating with WPT engineers and technicians to implement what is suitable to improve the product for Starling Group.
Based on your knowledge and experience, you will be assigned a specific business area and oversee the entire software lifecycle in that domain. This includes assessing and overseeing all new software requests to ensure the company's software catalogue meets all requirements and avoids duplication across Starling Group. A key aspect of this role involves rigorously testing and configuring tools. Assessing their durability and maximising their potential both independently and when integrated with other systems, to ensure all functionalities are thoroughly understood and verified.
