Global Home Group is a growing UK furniture manufacturer and distributor with operational hubs in
Andover, Launceston, Ireland and Vietnam
, supplying major retailers and direct-to-consumer markets.
As we expand, the systems supporting our warehouses, finance, supply chain and commercial functions must scale with us -- reliably, securely and efficiently. Technology is central to that journey. This role exists to help us build maturity, improve data flow, strengthen governance, and create a stable platform for long-term growth.
Not just running IT - building the technology foundation for the next stage of the company's growth.
The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who thrives with ERP ownership, reporting, configuration and system improvement, not just reactive technical fixes. You'll be the person who joins the dots -- between operations, finance, warehouse teams and external vendors -- to make our systems work smoothly and intelligently together.
This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, workflow logic and strengthening controls as much as solving technical issues.
What you will lead
Ownership of NetSuite ERP (roles, permissions, saved searches, dashboards, workflows)
Microsoft 365 + Azure AD administration & user lifecycle
SharePoint structure, access governance & documentation control
Vendor management -- MSP, networking, telephony, SaaS, infrastructure support
Information security, MFA enforcement, access reviews, backups & continuity planning
Data/reporting dashboards for leadership and operational teams
Systems hardening & scalability planning as the business continues to grow
Change control, platform improvement and workflow optimisation
This role will include some hands-on support, but it is not primarily break-fix.
There will be moments where you help resolve system access issues, support user problems, or coordinate hardware/network fixes via third parties -- but success here is measured by how well our systems run, scale and integrate, not by firefighting.
You'll spend more time improving workflows and resilience than resetting passwords.
You'll be great at this if you enjoy:
Improving process, not just troubleshooting symptoms
Designing workflows & reporting logic in ERP/M365
Bringing order, visibility and structure where there isn't enough
Strengthening systems for scale -- not simply maintaining the present
Communicating simply with non-technical teams
Being the person who sees around corners
What we're looking for
Must have:
NetSuite or similar ERP administration experience (SAP / Oracle / Epicor / Dynamics transferable)
Ability to build saved searches, dashboards, workflows or configuration logic
Strong Microsoft 365 + Azure AD knowledge
Confidence managing external vendors & holding SLAs to account
A calm, structured thinker who prefers system improvement over fire-fighting
Nice to have:
Power BI / reporting tooling
SuiteScript, SQL or automation mindset
Operational exposure to warehousing, logistics or manufacturing
Salary & Package
55,000 - 70,000 DOE
Apply with your CV + a short note telling us:
One system or process improvement you implemented that made a measurable difference.
