James Cowper Kreston are recruiting for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager, with demonstrable experience in transactions tax, including due diligence and M&A tax advisory.


Our clients range from owner managed businesses, through mid-market private equity funds to international corporate groups across a range of different industries. The role

:


You will join a successful tax team with experience advising on a multitude of interesting transactions including acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations and MBOs.


You will have an opportunity to be involved in a variety of work including tax due diligence, transaction structuring work, international tax advice and employment-related securities work. There will also be the opportunity to be involved with training and marketing initiatives if this is of interest.

Key requirements:

ACA or CTA qualified with the ability to demonstrate strong corporate tax technical skills, particularly with transactions tax experience. The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients at all levels. A team player - having the ability to work with the tax team, the corporate finance team and other members of the firm.

his is a greenfield role for a dedicated transactions & diligence tax manager and therefore there is a significant opportunity to shape the role to suit you. Genuine flexible working arrangements are commonplace - office location would be Reading (where our Corporate Finance team sits) where you would usually be expected to spend 2-3 days a week, but how you do that is up to you.
