Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate butcher to join our thriving farm shop team in the heart of Hampshire. If you take pride in traditional butchery, enjoy engaging with customers, and want to work in a friendly, food-focused environment--this could be your next move.

About the Role:



Full-time, permanent position - part time hours considered 27,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience 5-day working week (Tuesday-Saturday), 44 hours Staff discount, uniform, free parking, and a supportive team

What You'll Be Doing:



Preparing and presenting a range of fresh meats to high standards Offering expert advice to customers on cuts and cooking methods Managing stock rotation, hygiene, and food safety compliance Supporting seasonal product development and displays

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience in butchery (retail or farm shop preferred) Proficiency in various butchering techniques and meat preparation methods Strong knife skills and knowledge of carcass breakdown Excellent customer service and communication A proactive, tidy, and safety-conscious approach Passion for local produce and sustainable food practices
