Hours: Minimum 40 hours over 5 days. Weekend working is essential

About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Butcher Assistant to join our team at Ward Field Farm Shop. You'll support our skilled butchers in preparing high-quality meat products, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment Stock and rotate products in display counters Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
Previous experience in food handling or retail preferred Basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and take direction
