Job Description
Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Butcher based at our Cash & Carry, Carmarthen.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To trim and prepare products to the required specifications De-bone beef, lamb and poultry products To prepare butchery stock for the picking team Stock rotation and documentation To pack and label prepared stock for sale Portion control Receiving customer orders Product knowledge and customer interaction Prepare ready meals as and when required General housekeeping of area, and care of knives
What we offer:
A full-time position working Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30. In addition, 1 in 4 weeks you will work until 19:30 on Monday and Thursday + Saturday 8.30-12:30 and Sunday 09:30-12:30. You will work 4 days the following week. A competitive salary 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
