Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Butcher based at our Cash & Carry, Carmarthen.Main Duties and Responsibilities:To trim and prepare products to the required specificationsDe-bone beef, lamb and poultry productsTo prepare butchery stock for the picking teamStock rotation and documentationTo pack and label prepared stock for salePortion controlReceiving customer ordersProduct knowledge and customer interactionPrepare ready meals as and when requiredGeneral housekeeping of area, and care of knivesWhat we offer:A full-time position working Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30. In addition, 1 in 4 weeks you will work until 19:30 on Monday and Thursday + Saturday 8.30-12:30 and Sunday 09:30-12:30. You will work 4 days the following week.A competitive salary25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
