Butcher/ Counter Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Butcher/Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in food preparation and handling, as well as strong experience working directly with the public. You will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and serving meat products while delivering excellent customer service at the counter.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, cutting, and presenting meat products to a high standard
Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
Providing advice on products and cooking methods
Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
Ensuring all food safety and health & safety regulations are followed
Requirements:
Previous experience as a butcher or counter assistant
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Clean, tidy, and professional approach
