We are looking for a Butcher to work in our Butchery team at our Halifax depot. You will be joining a highly skilled team who produce excellent cuts of meat for our range of customers.

The working hours are 6.30am to 3.pm, Monday to Friday and 5 hours on alternate Saturdays.



Duties includes:


Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications Trim excess fat, gristle, and other undesirable parts from meat Portion meat into appropriate sizes for packaging Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment Follow proper food handling and safety procedures Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed


Qualifications:


Previous experience as a Butcher or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely Understanding of different cuts of meat and their uses Excellent communication and customer service skills
