Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, hard working and skilled butcher to join our award winning close knit team. Minimum of 3+ years experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background and demonstrate a passion for food preparation and butchery. As we are part of the Elite Butcher Association we are dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure we are providing the best service and quality to our customers. Duties

Assist in the butchery process, ensuring proper techniques are followed for meat preparation. Be able to manufacture, work confidently on the block and be able to serve / interact with customers when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of our shop, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to all food safety regulations, ensuring that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and quality are up to standard. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed. Participate in planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new products.

Skills

Proven experience in a butcher shop in block work and manufacturing. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in butchery is required, along with general food preparation skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to take on board new procedures and follow instructions correctly. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A passion for butchery and a commitment to delivering high-quality food products.
