to join our food production team. This is a practical, hands-on role within a busy production environment, working with meat products and food processing equipment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare meat and meat products in line with company processes
Cure food products using the correct equipment and procedures
Slice, pack, and label products accurately
Complete HACCP and production paperwork correctly
Clean and maintain production areas to a very high hygiene standard
Operate production machinery including:
Bacon Slicer and other equipment involved in production
Support colleagues across different departments as required
Follow all Health & Safety and food safety policies
Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information
Requirements
Experience in butchery, food production, or a similar role preferred
Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards
Ability to follow processes accurately and work to strict standards
Good attention to detail
Flexible approach to duties and working hours
Duties may vary in line with business needs
